Last month we wrote you about Friends of the University, a muscular addition to California’s political philanthropy ecosystem that advocates for the University of California, which for far too long has been treated like a doormat by elected state officials. Now FOU has produced a slate of five candidates for the State Legislature. If UC is a priority for you and you want Sacramento to treat it better, we encourage you to donate to any or all of them.
