State legislators introduced nearly 1500 bills this week, bringing the total number of bills submitted this year to 2103. Here’s a small sample of measures proposed this week:
Yesterday marked the official deadline for bills to be introduced this session but via “spot” and “gut-and-amend” bills lawmakers will have plenty of opportunities before the session ends in September to add all kinds of subjects to the mix. We will have a very busy year.
