Rate Your Legislator?

Nowadays it’s easy to rate most consumer services. Consumers get an email right after the service has been completed asking how well the supplier performed. But political services are different. Most constituents know only what legislators tell them.

Eg, last Friday, which was the deadline to submit bills, legislators tweeted loudly about bills reflecting well on them but not about those submitted at the behest of special interests. They’re not even required to disclose contributions from interests doing business with or regulated by the state until June 30, after they pass the budget and held the majority of committee hearings.

Supporters of the general interest must review every bill (2400 were submitted) and develop relationships with legislators who ultimately listen only to those with power. Our power derives from you. Join in here.
